Thanks for reporting this. It has been a repeated problem at this property. You can’t even get to the cross walk buttons or stand on the walk while waiting to cross.
Definitely! I walked from Crestland to Granger and reported 3 separate violations along the way, but ignored a couple. It was rough. A slightly less agile older person than myself would face real challenges, and danger. I shoveled my walk immediately. Is it too much to ask that for-profit businesses do the same??
this is inexcusable! and it's a violation of city ordinances -- title iv, chapter 49, section 4:60(7) says "Snow and/or ice that is removed as required by this section or that is removed from private property shall not be placed on a sidewalk or street."
all that snow seems to have come from the gas station grounds.
This is appalling. The gas station on the east side of Packard deliberately blocked the sidewalk with an enormous pile of snow so that their own private property was clear.
Your request has been acknowledged and/or addressed to the best of staff's ability. A more detailed description of action taken by staff, if available, is provided in the comments above. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
