Public works should pay attention to our problem as a community in Jones Mill Road. City of Dunwoody should start investigating our flooding & drainage problems coming from the sky and upper level from Ridgelock court Road. I’m suggesting to Cityof Dunwoody should create a drainage between Ridgelock court & Jones Mill Road.
City of Dunwoody should work together with Peachtree Corners to deal with flooding problems in relation to zoning. I hope this will not be a zoning issues but a problem of community as a whole. We, in Jones Mill Road felt neglected for years.
The City of Dunwoody Stormwater Department is currently investigating this drainage issue. For future updates on the status of this request, please contact Carl Thomas (Stormwater Manager) at 678-382-6864. Thank You.
This City invested in an independent study to determine the source of the drainage problem on Jones Mill and explore any potential solution(s) to mitigate the issue. Based upon the study results, the drainage issues are not the result of any actions by the City but unpermitted plan deviations and modifications. Therefore, the property owner(s) must address these issues privately.
