I’ve reported this issue as well. Since it seems no action was taken, I’ve very recently started taking photos to document the severity of the issue. I understand this intersection is part of the Green Light Go grant program.

This traffic light short cycled again today @ ~5:05pm. I pressed the pedestrian crosswalk button located at the corner of the Mercedes Benz dealership, shortly thereafter the light turned green for traffic to exit the train station & Summit, I took 3 steps into the roadway, saw the pedestrian indicator was red, traffic light quickly changed from yellow to red & I sprinted across the 4 lane intersection. No cars were able to exit the Ft wash train station. If I was an elderly person living in a nearby assisted living facility, I would’ve been dead.

Additionally, to the last comment since the signage and police presence have ended, blocking the box issues have returned. With congestion on Pennsylvania Ave occurring it is also inducing traffic to use Summit and Montgomery to circumvent the backups. The Issues along Pennsylvania Ave need additional solutions.

I was going to write in today about the short cycling light at the intersection of Pennsylvania and fort Washington Avenues. Fort Washington Avenue got a green light that lasted maybe about 2 seconds; it turned yellow immediately after turning green, just as the first car started entering the intersection. So basically only one car got to turn left legally.

Would like to echo the issues at this light. When turning left off of Ft Washington onto Penn Abe in the morning the light flashes green then to yellow and red in the time it takes for one car to start moving.

This complaint is under investigation by the township engineer.
