Description
Storm Water Problem. Water is jumping the curb badly ever since they repaved the street. I have additional pictures of it running over the curb. The curb is not high enough to keep water overflowing. Causing damage to the property. If it rains long and hard, I get a river through my front yard.

I met with the home owner Monday and explained the cause of road runoff overtopping the curb. When Dekalb County paved the road sometime before Dunwoody was founded, they paved over the concrete gutter, reducing the effective curb height and gutter capacity.
The City will attempt to remove the asphalt from the gutter. This may be difficult to do without damaging roadway pavement if the asphalt is tightly adhered to the concrete gutter.
