It is very predictable that someone will miss the turn and end up in a head-on collision with westbound traffic. There is evidence at the Charter Oaks, and Moravian turnarounds (downed stop signs, tire tracks in the easement, etc) that the turnarounds were designed by a rookie engineer. Yes, there are stupid drivers, but what about the innocent family traveling westbound that meets the stupid driver head on? A guard rail should be placed to prevent a tragedy, but then vision is obstructed.

I use this route all the time, it isn't dangerous by any means. The people that have an issue should not be driving!!!!! Give me a f'ning break...............

I think the tracks and downed signs are due to road conditions. If it happened on dry roads, then I would say bad drivers. There's enough room to decelerate sufficiently on the proper lanes IF you are driving the posted speed to start with.

In icy weather these shorter turnarounds are pretty bad. They are now very abrupt where as before it was a much smoother curve. Too many people around here are not use to this new style, has cause a few accidents.
