Ummm no. Thanks for snarky comment. There is no turn signal light period, so there for 1can not be burned out. If you try to turn left onto 164th during rush hour you have to sit thru the light several times cuz so much oncoming traffic you are not able to turn. You should try it sometime jackass!!!

The traffic on 42nd has become unbearable ever since the construction on THE BOULEVARD has narrowed down the lanes. It is almost impossible to cross 42nd from my street on 160th or even more so to turn South to go up the hill. The traffic is sometimes backed up to the bottom of the hill.

Corleone- go back under your bridge and stay. This is a problem intersection, people waiting to turn left on a green ball due to no dedicated left turn lane or light makes traffic back up sometimes thru several light cycles

I don 't have a bridge to go under cuz I'm not homeless. SO, take your attitude and stick it where the sun don't shine!

King County operates and maintains the City of SeaTac's signal infrastructure.

I have submitted a request for an investigation to the County for review. If approved, they will get a crew to install the new signal and update the timing of the light.

Whether or not the change can be approved will depend on several factors. Namely, the amount of drivers turning during peak hours must warrant the change.

I think the traffic has increased five fold since the construction and traffic backups on International Boulevard. Between 4 and 6 it is a line of traffic from 164th all the way down the hill to 150th

Update: City staff met with King County officials today and discussed the possibility of a dedicated left-turn movement for those turning left onto 164th from NB Military.

In short, there is no clear 'yes' or 'no' answer I can give at this time. The signal poles, in their existing condition, are crowded and will require crews to get creative installing an additional signal head. King County will be investigating potential solutions over the coming weeks.

Unfortunately, this process takes time, and I apologize for not being able to provide a clear direction; however, I will continue to update this request as investigations continue.
