Call 311 and file a service request. They'll send someone out to look at it and that person gets to decide. When you call 311, you can leave your phone number and request a call back from the person who made the decision on fixing it or not fixing it. You can get a confirmation number too and follow-up, via 311, in 1-2 weeks.

Nothing has been done to fix the sidewalk yet.

This has not been repaired or made safer. I watched young cheerleaders from the convention center this past weekend trip on the buckling walk.

This sidewalk has not been repaired. I have reported the danger to 311. I'm sure with budget crunches, this won't be a priority on anyone's list, but I hope it will be taken care of soon as it is very dangerous.

I live nearby and we received word fromt he city that the the repairs will begin on Aug 20th and end on Aug 28th.

Good luck. We have very horrid sidewalks in my neighborhood (south of IH-30) and they have been reported to 311, but they City does NOTHING to force property owners to fix them. In fact I've been told that sidewalks are not even required by code in Dallas!

City elections are next spring. Can we say "regime change" y'all?
