Thanks for writing in – your concern about speeding on N 160th, and about unsafe driving in the parking lot has been forwarded to the Shoreline Police Department. It may also be worth noting that redevelopment of the former Sears property will bring some improvements to N 160th Street. Details are provided in a September 2019 staff report to Council located here: http://cosweb.ci.shoreline.wa.us/uploads/attachments/cck/council/staffreports/2019/staffreport090919-8b.pdf. Specifically, the developer will reconfigure N 160th Street to one lane in each direction plus a center turn lane which will improve safety (and speeding behavior) for all users.
