This is a comment from social media site, Next Door.: There is an  Abandon camper behind the closed doctors building where the drive-in used to be. The windows are busted out and someone who lives right in front of it on Compton rd told me kids go in there all the time and smoke and who knows what . I went To the police station and they said they can't do anything about it because they do not know who owns it. It has a license plate on it?? And I know who owns it and they don't seem to care.

Why was this a signed to the city clerk? And why is it they can't do anything about it? I really really do not understand this.

Janet, this issue is assigned to me because abandoned vehicles are either a police matter or a property maintenance matter, depending on the circumstances. We've found that the easiest way to make sure that issues are routed to the correct person is to have them come to me first and then I manually assign them to the correct department. I've assigned this to Bill Knight, our property maintenance person, because this vehicle appears to be on private property, not on the street. He should handle it from here.
