As of 9:15pm this evening, the wire was still tied to the fence. I hope it gets fixed soon.

Thank you for updating us on this issue. I contacted the Fire Department this morning; the operator informed me that they have tied the wire to the park fence to secure the area. For it to be repaired, the phone comany would have to send an agent out. The Fire Department had contacted the phone company to alert them of this hazard. This morning, I have also contacted Verizon to communicate the urgency of this matter. They assured me that an agent would be sent out today. Verizon has provided me with a reference number for this matter: MAAT028EJ9. have assured me that they will send a technician out today. They should
be calling me at some point today or tomorrow to confirm when the work

Do you happen to have an email for your Vorizon Maintenance crew? In New Haven we send service requests to ATT through SeeClickFix and they are really responsive.
