The window on the back of this house is also busted out

This is such an eyesore and a property no one cares about. I think there might be squatters in there as I have seen the back windows be broken out one by one and people exiting the doors recently when seemingly no one lives there.

Same thing goes for the guest house at the back of the property..

Make these people maintain their properties for the people who live here. Unacceptable.

This is a dilapidated building that is an eyesore and a hazard. The exterior is poorly maintained and I have observed poison ivy encroaching on the sidewalk from the yard. Thanks for reporting!

Hey thank you so much for working on this. However the house needs to be maintained and repaired. For all of these houses that are vacant it’s not just a matter of cutting grass it’s a matter of making the owners keep the house up to the standard that we want it to seem that we live here. It’s really unfair to homeowners to allow these vacant homes to continue to rot without anyone stepping in to make these owners maintain the houses.

Something really needs to be done about the abandoned homes within the area. It is really sad, not to mention a health and safety hazard.

Historically, over the last ten years this property has been neglected. I feel that Officer Carter has communicated to the owner that this type of neglect will not be tolerated by the city; however, only time will tell whether the owner will comply. If a fine was not imposed this time, I hope, if this neglect continues, that the consequences will be increa$ed next time this yard gets out of hand. TBD.
