Description
During fishing season there is a lot of litter being left behind by folks who park along Pleasant St near the train bridge. Alcohol bottles, wrappers, disposable gloves, coffee cups, and cigarette butts. It's disgusting. Can a littering fine be imposed? They use the river to fish yet they throw their trash on the ground. Also they are gathering in large groups. Sometimes there are as many as 10 cars lined up on pleasant St which seems to be on violation of social distancing guidelines and it prevents those of us that are walkers from using the sidewalk. There is a parking lot very close by. This is already a very narrow road with the addition of care lining one side of the street, it becomes unsafe for walkers. The boat launch area becomes very crowded and busy and folks are not taking proper precautions when in close proximity to others.
