Description
For many years there have been unused utility poles in the Fox Hollow area. They should be removed during Make Danville Shine. The location of these poles are: 3 Poles on Richardson Ct 48857, 48859 and 48860. 1 pole on Fox Hollow Dr 48850. 1 pole on Wilson Rd 48853. 1 pole on Sandy River Dr 48878

I imagine that if the poles are clean, the City can remove them. If they have wires or boxes that are still in service for the phone or cable companies, the City will have to convince them to come and move their facilities to the new poles.
As a Wilson Road resident, I heartily second your request.

The pole on Wilson Rd and Sandy River still have Xfinity stuff attached. Anything we can do to get them to move it? City says they will remove what they can. I have been trying to get this done for years

I would suggest direct contact with the manager at Xfinity here in Danville as the FH Homeowners Association and request they move their stuff to the new poles. I don’t know anyone down there any more, so can’t suggest a name.
