Strong industrial odor of some sort. Spouse thought it smelled similar to gasoline. Could not determine the source. Smelled it as soon as we walked out our front door. Called City of East Point after hours number published on its website, 404-761-7129. That number has been disconnected. Https://www.eastpointcity.org/water-sewer/#after-hours Odor has dissipated at this point. Residents need to have a functioning after hours or emergency number, so they can report potential industrial spills or leaks and receive a timely response. This neighborhood had to evacuate years ago due to a Brenntag spill and residents need to be able to report industrial issues to the city.
