I think an email from GLX a week or so ago said they will still have closures from time to time, so that's my guess as to why they're doing that. It was closed the other night for work on the new sidewalks. Plus, let's be honest it also keeps traffic down in our area.

Winchester should have been set up as a speed trap. The increased flow across Winchester has made it dangerous to cross, non-residents and residents alike of the area fly down at 40mph+ with impunity. It’s an unregulated nuisance that a sign and honors system won’t alleviate.

Agreed, cars speed down Winchester all the time but the increased flow has made it worse.

JT I totally agree with you. Alfred St is constantly being violated with cars ALWAYS going the wrong way up a one way, police don't seem to care and I got tired of constantly reporting the speeding on Winchester, the constantly blown stop sign on William and Albion and the wrong way violators. So frustrating and disappointing
