Description
Why are these lights operating late night & early morning? The ones for the freeway exit & entrance is acceptable, but the lights 100 feet before them are unecessary at that time of the night. Yet another intersection traffic issue in Willoughby. Why is this city so inept when it comes to traffic signals? Please don't blame it all on ODOT either.

I must agree. These lights are timed and do not work in combination with the freeway lights after them. There is no one on Reeves or Oak Hill and yet these lights transition to red. You drive a few feet forward and the freeway lights turn red because there is someone at the off ramp. The same thing will happen when driving northbound. The freeway lights turn green and the next set turn red even though no one is there. That is how an accident is going to happen, because someone with road rage will not want to stop and they will speed right through it.
I must agree that Willoughby need to get their act together. When you exit the freeway from going east bound on RT.2 there are two lanes for turning right, but there is no sign saying only the curb lane can turn right on red. Please don't mention that it is ODOT's fault because they have them in Mentor at 306, Willoughby Hills at 90 and numerous other places in Lake County.

I couldn't agree more! They should just have a blinking red light during those non busy hours. Gas is over $3.50 a gallon (March 2011) so why waste it sitting at a light?
This needs fixed soon!
