This concerns Eversource’s response to the recent storm power outages. I just moved to Enfield and I have to say how bery dissapointed I was wit Eversources response to this storm. I spoke with an Eversource rep on the phone and I was told they didnt realize there would be such widespread outages. I can’t imagine why, this was a mondter stirm that was predicted one week before it arrived in Ct. we are now 24 hrs without power, in hot humid weather and their website said Eversource is still evaluating thr damage. The rep told me they had not even been assigned Enfield as of yet. This is really shameful on their part and Further morr their web site, that they keep pushing everyone to for updated information was not even working properly and still does not give any current information. This should be addressed and perhaps we might have 2 companies or independant workers hired as ectra help as it seems this may be more than Eversource can handle effectively. Thank you, Helen Van Tassel

The have become too big to handle emergencies in a timely way or at the least prepare a response plan despite adequate advance notice of a major storm. And on top of that, escalate rates in a very bad time for families.
