And our Mayor is considering pulling out of URGENT. Without URGENT, we will be at the mercy of the drug dealers and gangs. Our KPD don't have the resources to deal with these problems on their own, before the Matthews fiasco.
Since URGENT was created, drug dealers are less visible. Before URGENT, they were dealing in broad daylight on many of our streets. Before URGENT, the City's administration, including our Police Chief claimed there were a couple of gang members and a bunch of "want to be's" in Kingston. Since URGENT, the KPD now claim hundreds of arrests of Crips, Bloods, Latin Kings.
Before URGENT, we were at the mercy of armed gang members and this Administration's spin machine. I don't want to go back to those days. Do you?
