Cars frequently drive very fast down the stretch of Valley St extending between Jacob and Lebanon streets, sometimes engaging in “drag racing” types of behavior. There are many young children living in this street (at least 8/17 homes- nearly 50% of homes on the street) and in the immediate area, increasing the threat to public safety. Speed bumps need to be installed to address this threat and encourage safe driving.
