Frequency, people are bike riding, using scooters (both manual and powered) on the sidewalks on the North side of Nassau between Bayard and Moore Street where it is supposed to be prohibited - and yet the the signage is next to non-existent.
How can law enforcement do its job when the municipal government does not direct Public Works to install sufficient and effective signage?
There's already a lot happening on the sidewalk in front of Bainbridge House, and it's almost all good. Pedestrians have priority on the sidewalk. Skateboarders need to find another place to work out, in my opinion.
This is still an ongoing issue. There were six skateboarders in front of Bainbridge House the other day. PU needs to install some devices of barriers to prevent them using the ramps and steps plus patrol this location
