Thanks for reporting through ACT Menlo Park. All of the trees in Nealon Park are pruned on a regular basis including the eucalyptus. The last routine pruning took place in 2018, in addition further pruning was performed on the eucalyptus trees in 2020 to reduce their size. In the unlikely event of a fire in the park, pruning work to create vertical and horizontal separation is effective in reducing the likelihood for of the fire spreading.
