Neil, they are being run out of places like the A Street encampment and taking up residence in our neighborhoods. What makes the homeless problem worse is the services provided in Antioch. Just yesterday John Muir had a bus and tents at the old boat ramp on Fulton Shipyard road along with a County Health Services van with tables set up and the County Care Team handing out whatever they do. Not a parking place to be had for boaters and their trailers because of the number of homeless people there. Antioch should NEVER allow this to happen. Additionally there were several cars blocking access to the ramps. I called the PD, left a message for the city manager and emailed every member of the council, CRICKETS. Leadership that listens, right. TBA
