Description

The YMCA on Robinhood Road has been hosting outdoor classes for several months. During the late summer months, they changed the orientation of the speakers such that the sound loudly carries through the surrounding neighborhoods; I live more than a mile away, but could actively participate in spin class if I had a bike at home. I can hear it inside my home, over my neighbor’s lawn mower. I’ve called the Y twice to no avail; I’m glad for people to exercise outdoors, but am hopeful the Y can find a solution that shares music and class direction with participants rather than a good bit of New Sherwood.
