A new bridge for cyclists and walkers was built last year, so issue resolved. Great work by the Council and State Govt, even if it did take years. Path between the new bridge and Hawthorne Canal is due to be upgraded this year too, after a delay last year left the area looking like a desert when all the shrubs were cut down.
