Thank you EME! I contacted code enforcement. The record # for this complaint is 1400079. I was told to call back in 3 weeks. By then it will have been assigned to an inspector.

Building is on land owned by the Port of Oakland. You may want to contact its Real Estate Division to let them know of your concern (which many people share). You could always go to a meeting of the Board of Port Commissioners: next one is January 23.

Thank you all! I just spoke to the Port's Commercial Real Estate Mgr. The port sold that property to Signature Properties as part of the Oak to 9th development. On to the next phone call!!!

I received an email back from Signature Developement...the owner of the property. I was told a permit has been filed and approved by the city for demolition and that it should happen within the next two weeks. Demolition of other blighted buildings along that corridor are also scheduled for demolition to prep the area for the Brooklyn Basin Project.
