Description

Hi. Travel M-F From Dequindre at 26 mile south a couple miles and proceed around Yates Cider Mill and you will pull your hair out. In the past 2 months even given the bad weather, this stretch has increased in conjection considerably. It seems that the traffic light cycles are shorter. Is there a way to make the North and South bound traffic lights about 3 times the amount of green time than what exists now? The road obviously needs to be expanded to two lanes but why not increease the light cycles 3 fold for green to red during the morning and evening rush hour commute times. This is not a catch all solution but would considerably move traffic trough this bumper to bumper nightmare. It seems it used to be bad but not this bad! 35 minutes to go 3 miles at 7:30am is mind boggling. More subs are being built to the north but the traffic congestion doesn't appear to be dealt with that I can see. There is a great website that you can look at to view real time traffic. This can be used to verify my claims http://www2.rcocweb.org/TrafficWeb/Index.aspx Any solutions being looked at for this? Thanks
