Due to the pavement condition on 12th St. N east and west of Market Ave. N following the winter weather; the city removed asphalt pavement down to the old brick road surface. The worst sections were resurfaced with asphalt; the section from Walnut Ave. NE to Gibbs Ave. NE will be repaved this year (2014) as part of the 12th St. Corridor project currently under way. In 2015 the project will continue with repaving of 12th St, from Monument Rd. NW to Walnut, and Gibbs to Maple Ave. NE., and should be substantially complete by 2016.

Hey there, This is not Fixed.... Give these people a break. They have done all there is to do for now. There is a major overhaul of 12th St in the works, to tear up what's there and pave the road now would be a huge waste of money and resources.
