Hi. The Pedestrian Walk Lights at this intersection of Broadway and Williams Street, are not the same as before. Right now, if you get a walk sign, it's only from one sidewalk to another, you have vehicles still moving on that crosswalk while the people are crossing. Before these new lights, pedestrians would get a walk sign, ALL lights would be RED, people can cross without any cars moving in traffic. Just like the intersection at Everett Ave and Spruce Street is extremely dangerous as well. The first time I tried this new setting, I was almost hit by a car. I would like to have confidence in my son's safety (he's 12) when he crosses, which isn't much, but it's definitely not a safe crossing intersection.
