  Hello,
  I wanted to provide an update on this request. I have spoken with our Vegetation Supervisor who stated the area will be placed on contract for clean up. We will also send this to the Police Department regarding any active homeless encampments. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

  Hello, I wanted to update you on this request. Our Police Department have confirmed the area is not an active homeless encampment and our Vegetation Department anticipate to being the contract process as soon as next week should no delays occur.   Thank you for the update. Will the human waste in the "bathroom area" be addressed during this process? I do know that this area is being used frequently by someone. On January 19 I walked by and saw more recent human waste.

  Similar to animal waste our crews do not pick up human excrement. If you are witnessing questionable activity in the area please call 911 or the Kent Police non-emergency line at 253-852-2121, thank you.

  Thank you for submitting the additional information regarding the homeless encampments and activity. That has been sent to our Police Department who will be out to check on the activity in the area. Our Vegetation Department is working on finishing up current contracts, to start scheduling for beginning the contract clean up process for this area.

  Thank you, I will be keeping a close eye on this area.
  Also, I have buried the accumulation of human waste and made the area less accessible for future use as a bathroom.
