Is this even an actual violation? I'll pull it down for you guys tomorrow when I go to Publix, please don't waste our already sparse city resources on this petty issue.
Hi, thank you! Yes it is a violation, and usually I take care of as many things like this as I can on my own. However with the prominent location of these signs (there's one at 26th also) and their height (you might need a ladder), I am concerned about retaliation while trying to take them down by myself. If you're comfortable doing it I really appreciate it!
And while I agree that it's a petty issue, it's January and these signs should have been down in early November. I believe I've waited quite a reasonable time to hope the issue would be resolved on its own.
It's a sign - a piece of paper/cardboard that almost anyone can take down with little effort without having to report it to the city. I don't pay taxes for people to lord over the community with their wills and whims; I'm gonna guess that the political side that it's representing isn't the one you happen to be affiliated with/a proponent of? Just a stab in the dark.
I'll take care of it, really - no worries. I'm going to be down there anyway. Have a good rest of your evening 😊
