Description
Lack of sidewalks all together make it impossible to walk to downtown Natick. This is especially treacherous when you have a dog and a stroller - never mind any pedestrian that has a disability. Planning only for vehicular traffic is ignorant and short sighted. Not every person chooses to travel by car. The conditions are even more treacherous due to the lack of snow removal on what might remain of the sidewalks all down route 27.

At this time, the project has not been completed. Improved pedestrian access is part of the design from end to end of the project and will be accommodated.
The project was anticipated and scheduled to extend over two construction seasons. Not all of the areas where the former sidewalk was removed were able to be repaved during the last construction season. It is not possible to plow the sidewalks in the areas which have not been paved.
