At the intersection of I 470 and Kansas Avenue and S. Topeka Blvd., it is giving a green left turn arrow to the southbound Topeka Boulevard traffic that wants to turn left, east, onto Kansas Avenue when there is rarely any cars that want to turn that direction. There is a lot of traffic that is traveling northbound on Topeka Boulevard that want to turn left, West, onto I 470 that have to wait a long period of time before their light turns green to make that turn. It would be nice if you could give a longer greenlight for the northbound Topeka Boulevard traffic that wants to turn left to merge onto I 470 and less time for whatever minimal traffic there is that wants to turn left onto Kansas Avenue from southbound Topeka Boulevard traffic. I travel this area every single day between the hours of 3 PM and 4 PM and this is the data that I have collected during these times. It would definitely help the flow of traffic if you extended the green light for northbound Topeka Boulevard traffic and the traffic it wants to turn left and merge onto I 470, and giving less time for the southbound Topeka Boulevard traffic which there is not nearly amount of traffic going that direction
