Yes i hate that stretch of road. It took them over 2 yrs to fix the bridge. Now they're widening the road going uphill (inbound) after the bridge. Can they please just finish the project by fixing the the potholes heading towards the bridge. Its ridiculous.

Dear Julie & Tom:
Thank you for sharing your comments. The County Executive asked that I respond on his behalf.
Please understand that as part of the intersection improvement project on Browns Hill Road, plans are in place to fix low manholes, potholes, and other pavement issues. Any sections of pavement that are in need of repair immediately will be temporarily repaired, and permanent repairs will occur in the spring.
Unfortunately, there has been no pothole repair completed this year due to a late start by the contractor and the need to open all lanes before Thanksgiving and the holiday season.
Please be assured that Allegheny County is working diligently to complete this project rapidly and efficiently for the benefit of all commuters. We sincerely appreciate your patience as we conduct work.
Thank you again, for sharing your concerns, and please be assured that they will be passed along to the Allegheny County Department of Public Works.
Sincerely,
Colleen Elms

The pot holes on both side of Beechwood from the time you exit the parkway at Sq Hill/Homestead until you reach the Homestead High Level are absolutely ridiculous. It slows traffic. This is a major artery.
There are plates down on some of the potholes, but one that is exposed was bad enough to hit the undercarriage of the car! One could easily snap an axle on that one.
