Huntington Ave has been identified by this office for reconstruction. The cost for this work is estimated to be about $850,000. We have identified potential funding for about half of that and we are looking for other sources of funds.

Thanks for the reply. The federal funding that went into putting the totally unnecessary blinking speed limit signs on Park Ave. and elsewhere (telling me I'm doing 29 in a 25) should have been better spent fixing the roads. The City of Cranston should have have explained to the Federal Government the need for fixing the roads is greater than slowing the traffic, and spent the money where it was truly needed for the benefit of the taxpayer. There are already school signs, crossways, speed limit signs and cops on the road to curtail the speeding.

Soooo, Huntington ave has been identified....ok,well it's been over a year! Now what!??

Crack the whip! Vote Republican and watch the roads get re-paved.
