Yes!!! Somebody broke into our car too! This street is in desperate need of Surveillance cameras!!

My guess it may be someone from the neighborhood or someone observing from the park etc. The only time they broke into is when we put a small box in the trunk. It was just a return package for amazon, nothing important. I remembered after the incident that i had a return package and it is gone. That means someone is watching or observing around. Can city install cameras around the park or work on some kind of neighbour watch? We have also caught someone last year when they tried to steal someones bike and person scared and run away, the owner was happy that we stopped it. There lots of incidents going on like that and people are not bothering to report, but there is something going on in the neighborhood. It is sad

This happened to me around twenty years ago. The car was parked on Kennedy in front of the park. I found a brick on the back seat floor with the rear passenger window busted. I believe that the criminal sat on one the benches in the dark on the hill facing Kennedy, threw the brick and then waited till the coast was clear and no alarm then moved in for the kill. There was nothing to steal as well either.

So sorry this has happened to you .. will definitely keep an eye out as we do park and live in the area.....
