Description
There is a problem with the street light at the intersection of Marion, Union, and Central. The light is only turning green for the Marion Street traffic for barely *5 vehicles* to get through. Traffic coming from Union and Central get the green light long enough for *25 vehicles* to easily pass through. This is causing tremendously frustrating traffic backup on Marion Street. Just yesterday I sat at that light for more than 10 minutes watching it turn red FOUR times and there were only about 12 cars in front of me. I desperately hope this traffic light timer is fixed as soon as possible. Thank you!! Sincerely, Brian Wardyga

Eversource had damaged a signal loop in the asphalt during an emergency gas repair at the intersection. We are currently working with Eversource and a contractor to repair the loop. The contractor is very busy and will be out to repair this as soon as possible.
Thanks.
