Still potholes in our alley. There is also a fairly large pothole in the paved street at the intersection of Glenn and Mentor (on Mentor, the west side of the intersection.

That's my understanding, yes. But it would be nice if the City could take a couple minutes and respond here to that effect.

Now, with no snow or ice, maybe our alley could be "leveled"?

how about contacting public works in the blue pages of the phone book instead of this privately owned website, maybe the information can get there faster, is there even proof that this information gets to the appropriate city agency or is it just citizens just complaining on a website the city knows nothing about.

I will try that. I thought that this was linked to the public works dept.

It *is* linked to Public Works... they get email notifications of these, as noted in the "Watchers" boxes. Whether they do anything with the notification (regardless of its origin) is a different matter. Some things like traffic lights have gotten fixed, and we'll see what happens to the pedestrian signal I just reported. I suspect alleys are a low priority unless they get multiple folks complaining.

(Ben, do they also get comments? I know *I* get everything, but I may have been overzealous in checking off boxes... I get no less than four emails on most things.)

My husband & I are in NC at the moment. We'll be home next week, & phone in the week after that. I'm not sure of the phone # Is there something at "public works" in the yellow pages, under Wichita gov.?

I called a person in Public Works and it's "on the schedule". She said maybe in two weeks!
