I'm not sure I understand your statement that begins with
"Mayor's office...." Do you want me send a message to
Public Works? If so, what is their email address.
Thanks,
Tony
Hello,
My name is Pleshette Mitchell, I am the Director of the Office of Neighborhood Services. The emails for DPW requests for services should go to the Director, Paul J. Thomas at pjthomas@providenceri.com.
Hi Robin,
I am the one who started this topic about 5 months
ago. The problem has not been fixed yet. It is a big sink hole in the pavement, and it's right in front of my house (184 Hillcrest Ave, Prov., RI).
Any chance of getting this fixed in my lifetime???
Tony
They recently started repairing pot/sink holes as the weather is now such that it is possible to do so.
Going forward, you can always call us here in the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services with any issues that you might have: 401-421-PROV. We are open M-F 8:30am-5:00pm.
This problem is over two years old. About a month ago, a car went into this sink hole and
his oil pan hit the road and ruptured. He lost all his oil, and left an oil trail all the way down
the street!
Please, please fix this depression in the road!!!
Tony

Mayor's office, if you would like us have these go directly to Public Works please post an email for them here and we'll set them up.
Thanks,
Ben

Hey Tony,
The Mayor's office is receiving an alert and I was just asking them to give us the email for Public Works.
If you have it that would be great.

Thanks for giving us the correct email address Pleshette.
I will change the email address for you.
If additional people would like to receive alerts click who's watching when on the providence home page.
From their you can receive alerts narrowed down by keyword and smaller geographical area.

Pleshette,
I see that you created the watch area already for pjthomas@providenceri.com
There were two so I destroyed the second one so he would not get two alerts.
Do you want me to remove the watch area for the Mayor or leave it?
Thanks again,
Ben

Hi Ben,
Just double checking that this has been taken care of. We show that it has been but see here still 'open'.
Thank you!
