City of Corona assigned this issue to Corona Police Department

Please be advised, a California law was changed in 2019 and created an additional rule for police to remove vehicles, Assembly Bill 2876. This Bill does not allow for the towing/removal of vehicles off public city streets without a community care taking need present. Parking Enforcement responded on 5/25/21 and located the mentioned vehicle. The vehicle was cited for a miscellaneous parking violation. At that time, it did not meet the criteria under community care taking to be legally removed from the public city street. Thank you for helping to keep our streets safe.
