Description

On Tuesday, May 11th sometime between 1:15 and 1:25pm. I was jogging down Chelsea St trying to get some exercise. I almost tripped over a tire on the sidewalk on Curtis st at the intersection of Chelsea St. I decided to report it on the 311 app. Case #101003741807
Nothing wrong with that.
I then see a white pick up truck pass me and drive down to Curtis st. He must have turned around because all of a sudden I notice a white pick up truck pull up behind me. I didn’t think much of it and continued to jog. After awhile, I noticed he was still following me. He was stalking me. I wasn’t sure why he was following me but I was wondering if he was angry about the tire I reported. I decided to jog faster because I’m way too old to get into an argument with another grown adult. He hits the gas and starts racing behind me. I am terrified and scared for my life that this lunatic is stalking me and racing behind me. I cut through Eagle Square and he starts yelling stuff out the window. He was a white man and looked middle aged. While I was running, I saw that Princeton st was a one way street. I ran down that street thinking that this crazy lunatic wouldn’t break the law and turn down that a one way street..... I was totally wrong. This guy did break the law and go down the street. I was very scared and ran onto private property to hide. This man then got out of his truck and started to chase me. He walked on to private property and started to take pictures of me. I do not give consent to take pictures of me and the property owner does not give consent to take pictures of their property.
As far as I’m concerned, the city will be responsible if this man uses those pictures in any way.
Anyways, This man then said “Your a f**king p**sy.” He then yelled “We know where you live.” I interpreted that comment as a threat against my safety. At this point, I’m terrified what this man is going to do me. I quickly run past him and run down Princeton st heading back towards Eagle Square. When I get to the square, I see another public works worker at intersection of Eagle Sq and Chelsea st. He was a tall black man. He looks like a younger man but not too young. He just stood there and looked at me. He was probably very confused about what was going on. The white man was still chasing me and I ran into traffic. If one of those cars hit me, I could have got seriously hurt. The city would have been responsible for that. After that, the white man said to the black guy “That’s the guy!” I have no idea what he is talking about. I think he has me confused with someone else. I ran down a random street and he stopped chasing. I’m assuming he stopped because the other guy was watching him. After a few minutes later, I walked back to Chelsea st to see if it was safe. I saw a public works vehicle at a stop light with the license plate MB 1812. I have no idea if this was the same person or not but it would be a good idea to ask this employee. In conclusion, I have no idea why something this minor would set off this city employee. If a tire gets this person that angry, then what else will set him off?? I would also like to point out that I 100% did nothing wrong. I did not break a law. I didn’t even say one word to this person, I just kept running. The only thing I did was use the Bos:311 app. That is not a crime! This is harassment! If this person tries to deny what happened, you can do the following things to prove that he’s lying:
1. Check the GPS to see if his truck went down the streets that I mentioned during those times and date
2. Ask the tall black guy if he saw me running away from him
3. Check his phone to see if he took those pictures. Not sure if it was his work phone or personal phone
If there’s any business’s in the square with security cameras, that will also prove it. I also think there was graffiti busters in the area. You can ask them if they know anything about it.

What he did to me was not right at all. I did not deserve this. If any Public Works worker approaches me on the street again, I will call the police on him. Is that clear? I will not be providing my name or phone number because I’m nervous they will harass me when they find out this information. But you can respond back to this post on the app.

I would like the city to apologize to me for what happened. I would like those pictures deleted from his phone since I don’t give consent. I would like you to talk to the employee about why what he did was wrong. I would also like reassurance that something like this will never happen again
