All, Mr. Daniels is NOT Rubble on the Double. Mr. Daniels is building 10-12 $400-600K homes which will increase the value of your home, at least 50%. Daniels Court proves my point.

The last home that sold there was actually less per square foot than most of our homes surrounding the property.

Also, it has been 2 years of living with blight already. How many more years of blight before 1 home is built? Also, are we going to be living in a chatting zone for years as well.

Prospects of developing the property are not an excuse for neglect...

Owner does not care about Allen Park if he will only take care of a property when it matters him money. The fact that he allowed dunno trucks to turn it into literally a dump is sad and ridiculous and deserves apologizing and improvement.

Ms. Courtright, my final thoughts about your response. Daniel Court went from a field ($0 tax money) to an Allen Park condominium taxing community in 10 years (1985-95 7 taxable properties). The COVID-19 pandemic has slowed ALL business transactions and demolition/clearing/development is based on the city leaders, the developer, and the contractor being able to work together which was not possible. Your use of the word blight meaning a thing that spoils or damages something is incorrect. The church which was unused, falling apart, grass cut by by Allen Park City workers for 10 years is a much better example of blight. The Allen Park City Council has given their approval for land development, not prospects of developing the property. Contact any council member for confirmation. Mr. Daniel owns multiple commercial businesses in Allen Park serving Allen Park citizens in a fair and competitive real estate market. Apologies come from lack of focus and determination, which Mr. Daniel has not exhibited. COVID-19 pandemic is the obstacle hindering development.

Mr. Daniel chooses to almost never cut the grass, you have to complain first before he will hire someone to cut the grass and even then it's once until you complain again about the grass height. He chose to let dump trucks dump waste from concrete jobs for 12 months before the city made him stop, also after much complaining from residents. He chose to let those dump trucks completely destroy sidewalks and curbs and blvds. He chooses to leave garbage on the property, orange buckets, old wood and other debris, a concrete bench.

Please help me understand how these things are the responsibility of the city? Please help me understand how he's showing he cares for this property by allowing these things to happen? Please help me understand how Covid is stopping the grass from being cared for and how is covid making Olive cement dump their waste on this property?

The things mentioned here are what every resident in this neighborhood are completely sick of having to endure looking at and dealing with. None of these things are affected in any way by what you mentioned. They are a lack of care and respect for the property that is owned by Mr. Daniel, plain and simple.

What about the Andrew’s property adjacent to Bethesda church? Daniel purchased that 20 years ago and it’s been the mess we look at day after day with his new purchase and endeavor. He hasn’t developed or maintained that property for 20 years and there was no Covid then? What’s the excuse now? I’ve been looking and living with Daniel’s neglect for 14 years in this neighborhood, some neighbors even longer. Just pathetic.
