Description

This area is in front of/between our home and the neighboring cottage development to the west. It has two mailboxes on it. No one takes ownership of this area, which is covered in debris and produces many weeds. It was not filled in properly years ago when the black mailbox was installed. I've tried to maintain it over the years, but what it really needs is repair of the large crack on the right and to be covered like a regular sidewalk on the left under the mailboxes. It would be wonderful to see this area tidied and cemented over. It's hazardous because dogs kick stones into the sidewalk which puts ADA transportation or small children on bikes at risk, not to mention the tripping hazard for walkers. Since this is city property, I am requesting that repair and coverage of the weedy area be fixed. It would contribute to the safety and beauty of our street.
