    The area for walking/jogging/bikes on the makai side of Kihei Rd. in front of the Maui Lu has sand extending into traffic in a couple of places. This creates a dangerous situation where pedestrians could easily be hit by traffic. A retaining wall or fence would help alliviate this problem.
