Crosswalk needed in middle of block.
There is a sidewalk & steps from the Rex parking lot to LBT on the north side. On the south side of LBT there is also access to buildings.
Pedestrian traffic regularly crosses LBT with no visual protection in the form of a marked crosswalk.

The Valet service location creates a visual blockage for pedestrians between Cheesecake Factory and Belks.
Until someone gets close to the kiosk it is difficult to chose a path around this obstruction.
Often valet customers will be waiting, further confusing and blocking pedestrian traffic.

Several restaurants are taking more than 50% of the sidewalk for outdoor dining.
1) This makes passage for non-customers difficult.
2) The congested walkway increases trip hazards.
3) It creates a unfair situation for businesses which follow the rules by obstructing access .

Patrons of East Village Bar & Grill regularly park with a tire on, and vehicles over, the sidewalk west side of Dixie.
Last year, RPD was to keep an eye on this. The owner / manager was due to fix the problem ....
