  • Manayunk Canal Path - Schuylkill River Trail Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Roxborough
    There is a large hole in the planking of a wooden bridge on the Manayunk Canal Path. Other planks are also rotting. This is the bridge closest to the upper lock (#68) near the Flat Rock Dam.

    A large sofa and cushions were dumped along Shawmont Avenue near the intersection with Nixon Street.

    08/21/2018 A very large tree has fallen across the Manayunk Canal Path creating a dangerous situation. Trail users are passing under the overhanging tree.

    The fallen tree is located just upstream from the Flat Rock Dam. The closest access point would be from Shawmont.

  • Wissahickon Bike Trail Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Roxborough
    As of 03/10/2018, a large tree has fallen on and across the Wissahickon Bikeway. Trail users are endangered when passing under the trunk. The tree is located downstream from the Henry Avenue bridge.
  • 925 South Trooper Road Eagleville, Pennsylvania - Audubon

    The inlet/storm drain on PA route 363 at 925 S. Trooper Road has sunken and created a dangerous driving hazard that could cause a motor vehicle to crash. Other inlet/storm drains on this section of 363 also pose hazards to drivers, including the one nearby at 915 S. Trooper.

    This section of 363 should have been widened decades ago.

  • 4456 Schuylkill River Trail Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Manayunk

    As of 02/14/2018, it’s back. There is a deep hole in the Manayunk Canal Path near the upper bridge to Venice Island. It is a danger to pedestrians and bicyclists, and is behind 4436 Main Street.

    A large tree trunk needs to be removed from the Wissahickon Bikeway. It is located just upstream from the 100 Steps and is near the intersection of Freeland and Rochelle Avenues.

    09/17/2017 A large fallen tree is hanging over the Manayunk Canal Path. It is located near the Station of Manayunk apartments. Several other trees that have fallen recently along the sides of the canal path need to be cleaned up too.
  • 2353-2399 Horseshoe Road Lancaster, Pennsylvania - US Congressional District PA16

    08/08/2017 Dangerous longitudinal cracks remain on Horseshoe Road (SR 1003) in both East Lampeter Township and Upper Leacock Township. The photos were taken recently near 2366 Horseshoe Road. These cracks, often 2 to 3 inches deep, are particularly dangerous to bicyclists.

    Also, there are potholes along Horseshoe Road at the upper entrance/exit to Conestoga Valley High School.

    These same problems on Horseshoe Road were reported in August 2015 (https://en.seeclickfix.com/issues/1846656). Also, they were reported to PennDOT (20150813-D8-9ZD53F). PennDOT did subsequently repair many of the cracks on Horseshoe Road; however, some cracks were not repaired. Also, where PennDOT did make repairs, large piles of gravel were often left on the edge of the road, again endangering bicyclists and pedestrians.

    07/10/2017 An abandoned Starcraft pop-up trailer is blocking the north-bound bike lane of Umbria Street, across the street from the PECO property and just south of the Umbria Golf Center.

  • 5315-5383 Umbria Street Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Roxborough
    As of 11/26/2016, a large tree limb and debris are blocking the north-bound bike lane on Umbria Street. This is across the street from the Umbria Golf Center. A volunteer from the cycling community cleaned off much of the debris, but could not move the limb.
  • Nutt Road And Main Street Phoenixville, Pennsylvania - Phoenixville

    Traffic that is west-bound on route 23 (Nutt Road) backs up at the traffic light at intersection with Main St./Manavon St. It backs up for a quarter mile or more at rush hour, and even backs up for blocks during non-rush hours. However, traffic in the other directions does not get backed up.

    The traffic signal needs to be changed to a longer green on west-bound route 23.

    Why haven't local officials noticed these things and gotten them corrected?

    07/24/2016 A large tree has fallen over the Wissahickon Bikeway. It is located about 200 yards below (downstream) from the Wissackon Bikeway trailhead at Forbidden Drive and Lincoln Drive. This is a danger to bicyclists, runners, and pedestrians as they must pass under the fallen tree.
  • Wissahickon Bike Trail Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Roxborough

    A large tree has fallen across the Wissahickon Bike Way, about 200 yards below (downstream from) the trailhead at Forbidden Drive and Lincoln Drive. This is located between the two bikeway bridges. Cyclists, runners, and peds must pass under this heavy tree, creating a dangerous hazardous.

    Nearby, on the Wissahickon Bikeway downstream, below the Henry Avenue Bridge, is another fallen tree that has been partially cleaned up by a volunteer.
