Over the last 5 years the City has been prohibiting Parking for non- Residents. First it was 4th & 5th Ave.NE. Then 6th & 7th. Then 8th & 9th. Where does the City think all the Restaurant workers have moved to? All streets North of 9th Ave. NE. Bay St. is filled every day from 11 AM until 11 PM by Restaurant workers, leaving no parking for Residents. Now, with Parking prohibited on 9th Ave. NE and construction beginning at 143 9th Ave. NE a big problem is about to occur. Of course the construction workers will park on Bay St, that is if the restaurant workers don't take them all as they normally do. Forget about the Residents! Making the same mistake and expecting a better result is the definition of insanity. Someone needs to pay attention to this. All property owners on Bay St. want the Residential Parking system put into place. I have questioned them all. The City claims that one Resident was against doing this. Not according to my survey.

Dark green Chevy was marked as abandoned in another part of the Old Northeast. Owner moved car to present location. SPPD marked the car again over a week ago. Car is still sitting. It is parked in a No Parking Zone and presents a dangerous situation at the intersection. Car has been here for two weeks. Time to call the tow truck.

Construction site has dirt/sand washing down alley. Sand collecting at the NE corner of Bay St. and 9th Ave. NE is a traffic hazard. This issue was reported weeks ago. Codes came out and required the installation of a barrier fence to prevent the run off. That barrier was removed the next day. With all the rain the problem is getting worse. The alley is a disgrace!

A new swimming pool at this location if full of nesting mosquitoes. The pool is at the back of property facing the alley. We've had this problem at other construction sites in the neighborhood before. This pool needs to be drained when it rains until completion.

Sand and dirt washing down as far as Bay St. NE from construction site. Although a plastic fence is situated there it is not keeping the dirt on the lot. Contractor should be required to clean up the mess.

This resident is moving and as distributed throw away furniture up and down the alley. Some of it stuffed in the now overflowing dumpsters. Our pick up is tomorrow. The Sanitation Drivers will not bother to pick up and empty any container that is obstructed by debris. They do not get out of their trucks. The City needs to do a better job of informing residents about how to get rid of large discarded items. As it is after tomorrow we will have full containers and no place to put our garbage.

Swimming pool at this location is filled with stagnant water. This was reported two weeks ago. Nothing was done about it. With all the concern about the Zika (sic) Virus seems like maybe the City would make the Contractor pump the water out once in a while. This was already reported! Other reported issues at this location have also not been attended to (sidewalk torn up). It is the City's responsibility to contact the Contractor for remediation.
