On southbound River Street, south of Forest, it this deep pothole that sort of swallows a car tire. Recommend a priority on this before someone's tires are damaged. Thanks for looking into this!

Two issues - Two cars have been parked for a few weeks on Dwight Street, just south of Forest. These may be abandoned since there are no license plates on either the gray Honda Civic or dark red Chevrolet Impala. Also, the Michigan Vehicle Code, 257.674, prohibits parking within 50 feet of a stop sign, which is not the case here. It would be appreciated if a "No parking from here to the corner" could be placed so as to reference where the 50' point is. As it is now, pedestrians on Forest have to peer around the cars to see if it is clear to cross Dwight. Thanks!

Bike lane pavement sections on eastbound Forest between the railroad tracks and Norris Street is crumbling and a safety hazard for narrow bicycle tires.

It would be appreciated if Jarvis could have center stripes painted on it. Over the years I have noticed a fair amount of vehicles thinking it is a one-way street westbound to Lowell. Drivers going west will travel to the south side of Jarvis and then stop at Lowell and wait and wait and wait for the green light.

Found speed bump section loose. Moved back to original location but it still needs to be bolted back down.

I realize work on new pedestrian crossing signals at the Hogback/Huron River Drive intersection was stopped over the winter but it would be appreciated if some kind of fill could be put in to reach the "old" crossing button on the utility pole. Thanks!

At the northwest corner of River and Cross, the area routinely floods after a heavy rain that leaves a surface filled with debris that would be challenging for a wheelchair user

Resident of 113 East Forest Avenue routinely parks his vehicles in the bike lane. Photo is from 12/8/2019 at 2:45pm. Talked to the resident that day asking him please not to park in the bike lane. He replied that he would continue to park in the bike lane, bikes can just go around his car, and that he had “permission” from someone (he could not answer “who”) in the City to park in the bike lane. I informed him that parking in the bike lane is like parking in a regular car lane and is illegal (Michigan Uniform Traffic Code - R 28.1322 Rule 322) and to that he told me to get off his property. In the past the owner has not “jumped the curb” to park (as in the photo) and taken up the whole bike lane and part of the westbound lane, forcing westbound traffic to go partially into the eastbound lane.

On the Border To Border Trail, in the Water Street area, 50' east of the Waterworks Park bridge over the Huron River, the contaminated area fencing has been ripped down.

Bike Lanes, both on the north and south sides of Forest just west of Huron are filled with large areas of broken glass.

Vegetation growing on the east side of Cornell between Mayhew and Collegewood that obstructs the view of motor vehicle traffic by people using the Border To Border Trail to cross Cornell.

Construction barrier fencing has never been removed along the Water Street Border-to-Border Trail. This this fencing is on both sides of the trail from Michigan Avenue to Grove Road in various segments.

Vegetation Growing Over Border To Border Trail In Gallup Park - It would be appreciated if Parks Department staff could trim back vegetation hanging over the B2B Trail in Gallup Park from the Geddes dam east to where the pathway crosses the Huron River by the soccer fields. Thanks for your help on this!

Holmes Road, between River Street and Dwight Street, is clearly one of the worst streets in the City, with potholes and very poor pavement. Some type of work or decision is needed on this street segment. Options floated over the years suggested by residents have been a complete repaving, turning it into an alley with restricted access (allowing pedestrians and bicycles access but not motor vehicles through the use of wood pole barriers which could be broken by emergency vehicles if needed) or just closing the segment completely. In any case, public input should be gathered before any decision is made. Thank you for looking into this!

Two "Right Lane Closed Ahead" signs have been placed on the Border To Border Trail taking up lots of room for the sign supports, but little room for bicyclists and pedestrians to get by. Can the sign be put on a single support pole instead of two? Also, if the sign is moved, please do not place it in the road shoulder as a good amount of bicyclists use that shoulder space to travel on. Thanks for correcting this problem.

While all bike lane markings on Forest Avenue, from College Place east to the City limit, need repainting, the are especially poor, or non-existent east of Huron. This problem was reported on 10/23/2018 but without my consent, another person (Daniel3260) "Closed" this initial report on 7/6/2019.

On the south side of Holmes, between Dwight and River, someone discarded a car tire on the side of the road. It is currently on the guardrail support and it would be appreciated if this could be removed. Thanks!
