An article several months ago in the N and O said accurately that this was one of the worst clogs in Durham, but the proposed fix was controversial and expensive, and would take a long time to accomplish. Meanwhile, why not try reprogramming the traffic lights so that Latta and Infinity each have one right-turn-only lane and one left-turn/go-straight lane? A one-week trial would show whether that is better, worse, or as bad as the current pattern.
