Cambridge MA Neighbor

  • 43–49 John F Kennedy St Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge
There is graffiti obscuring the sign attached to a handicap parking sign that reminds people not to lock bikes to handicap parking sign poles. This is on JFK, in front of Peet’s Coffee.
  • 10–12 Fresh Pond Pkwy Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge

A vine covering the tree between the street and sidewalk opposite 215 Brattle St. (bordering on Lowell Park) has sprung branches that obstruct the sidewalk.

Note that the tree is in the planting strip between the street and sidewalk, not actually in Lowell Park. The city (not DCR) maintains this portion of sidewalk, so I believe the city also cares for this tree.

  • 154 Brattle St Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge
A crack in the concrete sidewalk has been pushed up by the adjacent tree and now presents a several-inch tripping hazard.
  • 30 Fresh Pond Pkwy Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge
There is broken glass all over the sidewalk on Fresh Pond Parkway between Grozier and Larch. It is dangerous to paws and little feet.
  • 26 Elmwood Ave Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge
One of the Dead End signs on Elmwood has been nearly knocked over. The post needs to be righted and the sign could use replacement as well since it’s missing the N in End.
  • 244 Brattle St Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge
The Gator bag on the tree directly in front of 244 Brattle has sprung a leak
  • 223 Garden St Cambridge 02138, United States - Neighborhood 9
The blue light on the “blue light phone” (emergency phone) #5 in Danehy Park is out.
  • Danehy Park Cambridge 02140, United States - Neighborhood 9
Both of the Mutt Mitt dispensers at the Danehy Park dog run are out of poop bags. Please replenish to encourage owners to be responsible and pick up after their dogs!
  • 204 Brattle St Cambridge 02138, United States - West Cambridge

One of the traffic light / pedestrian signals at the intersection of Brattle St. and Fresh Pond Parkway was just replaced. (The is one of the ones on the corner adjacent to Lowell Park.)

The traffic signal works, but the pedestrian signal stays as “Do Not Cross” when it should allow crossing.

  • 180 Ma-2 Cambridge, MA 02138, USA - West Cambridge
The water fountain at the Kingsley Park bowl is an important feature for both humans and dogs, but two of the three spouts don't work. (Of the three, only the mid-height spout functions.) Could this please get fixed so all three levels work?
  • 203 Brattle Street Cambridge, MA 02138, United States of America - West Cambridge
A pipe cover is missing, leaving a large hole (approx. 1 foot diameter) in the sidewalk. This is a serious safety issue for pedestrians, especially in evening hours when it will not be so visible.
  • 1-9 Us-3 Cambridge, MA 02138, USA - West Cambridge
There's an opening to a pipe (a big hole) in the sidewalk with no cover; it's hard to see, so it's quite hazardous!
  • 35 Fresh Pond Ln Cambridge, MA 02138, USA - West Cambridge
Similar issue with uneven sidewalk as in front of 9 FPL.
  • 9 Fresh Pond Lane Cambridge, MA 02138, United States of America - West Cambridge
Uneven pavers are unsafe - especially since this area is not well-lit at night. Someone tripped on this lip last night and suffered a serious fall - cut her face, etc.
  • Fresh Pond Ln @ Brattle St Cambridge, MA 02138, USA - West Cambridge
Please remark crosswalks across Brattle St. @ Fresh Pond Lane and across Fresh Pond Lane @ Brattle St., as per earlier request (Issue ID 2745334). The crosswalks have not been repainted as the earlier issue's status suggests.
  • 630-633 Memorial Dr Cambridge, MA 02139, USA - Mit
Roadkill on Memorial Drive westbound, on the start of the overpass (over the BU bridge rotary)
  • 244 Brattle St Cambridge, MA 02138, USA - West Cambridge
Thank you for installing a Gator Bag on the small tree in front of 240 Brattle St. The larger tree directly in front of 244 Brattle St. is also very thirsty, though! (Due to its size, it will likely require more than one Gator Bag.) Could you please install two or more Gator Bags on this tree as soon as possible, so that we might give this tree a boost before the fall and winter?
