6 of the 11 street lights on Green btw Morgan and Pearl (both sides of Green) are out.
  • 10 Provost St Jersey City 07302, United States - Downtown
The exit to the parking garage at 10 Provost has an unreasonably loud siren that goes off every time anyone leaves. I get that it's to alert pedestrians that a car is crossing the sidewalk, but it's far too loud. The entire neighborhood doesn't need to hear this every 5 minutes. Is there some sort of noise ordinance that can help in getting the volume reduced?

This intersection is a block away from the PATH entrance at Columbus and Marin, so receives a lot of foot traffic. Both crosswalks crossing Warren Street have worn away and the traffic speeding down Warren (especially when Columbus gets the left turn arrow) is dangerous. There's a building being constructed on the northwest corner, which makes one crossing impossible, though people attempt it. I've seen many cars come to a screeching halt when someone's attempting to cross (including me), which is terrifying. Can we get a crosswalk and/or some kind of sign to slow or at least alert the traffic?

Crossing Warren Street on Bay Street is dangerous. The crosswalk only exists on the west side of Bay and connects to nothing. The east and west side of Bay, at Warren, are not aligned, so you need to walk diagonally to reach the other side. There is a building going up at this corner, and frequent heavy equipment and trucks parked here that are difficult to see around without walking out into traffic. There is no stop sign on Warren, or on the next block of Warren (at Second). I've had some near misses with my dogs here, and see parents with strollers struggling to cross safely. Can we do a traffic study and possibly get a crosswalk or a stop sign? The morning and evening rush hours are the worst.

This issue was reported in May, and closed due to a planned new ramp and crosswalk. There was some concrete poured at this corner, but no crosswalk, and it didn't address the issue.

The entire crosswalk is a mess. It gets bigger by the day and spreads gravel everywhere.

People have been walking down busy Washington against traffic to get around this block. I saw someone pushing a stroller today and almost fell myself walking on the snow, which has turned to ice.
